We had a great 4th of July weekend spending time together as a family. After church, we headed downtown to Petco Park for a Padres game. We have taken Keira to a few games now and it is so fun to sit on the grass at "Park at the Park." Since we are sitting behind the outfield, we don't actually get to see the game (except for watching it on a giant TV), but Keira gets to run around, so that is nice. Anyway, the game was exciting--it got tied up toward the end, but the Padres pulled out a win in the bottom of the 9th, bases loaded! So fun!
After the game, we were invited to a BBQ with some friends from church. It was nice to catch up with everyone and enjoy some yummy food!
She got her very own flag to celebrate the day!

Noah had the day off on Monday, so we made a trip to the Wild Animal Park. It was Keira's first visit to the WAP and I'd say she had a good time. Although we didn't actually get to ride the tram around the park (the wait was 1.5 hours!), we still saw lots of animals! She even got to pet some too!
The animals were neat, but by far, Keira's favorite part of the WAP was the carousel! After the first ride, she cried when it was time to get off. Then, she kept signing "again" so, of course, we had to go on it again! We went on it 3 times in a row (this is what you do with your firstborn, right?!)!
Hmmm...I wonder who is bigger?
