Bring on the pink!

Before Keira's arrival, we didn't stock up on many clothing items, since we didn't know if we needed to buy blue or pink. Therefore, all the baby clothes we had to start with were neutral colors--yellow, green, and white--which I thought were super cute at the time, that is, until all the pink clothes have started to trickle in! Since Keira's arrival, we've had several friends and family members give us lots of CUTE girly clothes, which means, of course, lots of PINK! It has been fun to mix up the neutral outfits with some serious girly-girl cuteness!

Here she is at 3 weeks old, sporting her pink ensemble and hanging out with her new dolly, compliments of Gramma Sheila.

Pink is not only adorable, but is especially useful when you have a bald baby girl. People always assume bald babies are boys (that's my experience anyway). Sometimes people will assume she's a boy even when she is wearing pink, but the pink makes that assumption a little less likely.
