Happy Birthday, America!

We had a lot of fun hanging out with friends for 4th of July!

In the morning, we went to the Duke's (they LOVE hosting parties at their new BIG house!)  :)

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast of egg/potato casseroles and fruit.
This is Godfrey's masterpiece! It was too good to eat!

He's either really proud or really sarcastic. You decide!

Keira loves tending to Baby Lawrence.
She is showing him the picture she drew.

Perfect red wall background for our patriotic day!

The girls had so much fun running around in the backyard!

Jack got to come too!

Nothing cuter than red, white, and blue!

Daisy was feeling patriotic too!

USA!

Trying to re-create this scene from last year (below)

My little firecracker!

Red, white, and beautiful!  :)

Super fun swing!

Finale--rice crispy treats--YES!!

After a little break at home, we went over to the Sterling's house for more fun and a yummy dinner!
Up first: appetizers--red, white, and blue chips with dip!

These dads LOVE their girls!

The spread:
Super yummy BBQ chicken sandwiches, red, white, & blue potato salad, and fruit!
(Yes, those are little American flags in our sandwiches!).

Bring on the food!

De-lish!

After filling up on the great food, it was time for some trampoline jumping!
Daddy got in on the action this time!

After crazy jumping, it was time for dessert: snow cones!
You'd think it would be perfect on a hot July 4th day, except that it was super chilly outside!
At least the girls had jackets on while they enjoyed their snow cones...Brrrrr!!
Putting on their flavors!

It takes concentration to use those droppers!

Yum!

We love snow cones!

We are so patriotic (and so cute!)!

These girls are the cutest!
(A rare picture where they are BOTH hugging each other AND smiling!).

Happy 4th of July!
Many thanks to our friends for hosting such fun events! So glad we got to build special memories together!!
