Back to getting caught up on the blog...
Last month was the Hullabaloo Family Music Festival. It was a fun time of music, dancing, and lots of kid-friendly activities!
Getting into the groove
The opening band was Bucket Ruckus and they were pretty unique and fun!
Keira specifically wanted to wear this dress (again!) because it has a super twirly skirt--
perfect for dancing!
perfect for dancing!
So fun to see the complete Hullabaloo duo AND Miss Joann doing the signs!
Ella was there too, which made the dancing craziness extra fun!
Hmm...this doesn't look safe.
Watch out, Matt!
Super jumping!
Whooping it up with Mr. Steve!
This may look like a sweet hug, but it's actually a WWF takedown
After the music, we tried out various vendor booths and sampled their stuff:
glittery make-up and hair color--WOW!
Sweetie girl
Stringing puffs for a bracelet
Art Soup table!
Hard at work
Decorating the house
Right after the Hullabaloo Festival, we made our way to Keira's first music class!
The class meets 1x a week on Saturday afternoons to explore beginning music activities/concepts like instruments, rhythm, volume, notes, as well as preschool skills like following directions, taking turns, etc. Keira loves music and she seems to really enjoy this class!
Thumbs up Mom and Dad!
This is fun!
She volunteered to go up front with Miss Cami to demonstrate an action with the shakers!
Banging on the big drum!
Learning about different types of notes
Yay for music!!
