The End of an Era

Lately, I've been posting so much about our new Mommy & Me preschool and now I want to take a moment to reflect on the activity we had to let go in order to make room for preschool.

New Phrases

Lately Keira has been saying new phrases and it has been fun to see how she is like a little sponge and is constantly learning from her environment. Here are a few of her new phrases:

"Do me a favor" (This is funny because she says it out of context and she apparently has no idea what it means!)

"I'll be right back"

"What's it going?" (Meaning, "How's it going?" which is what I say to people on the phone)

"Oh, dang it!" and "Oh, shoot!" (Hmm...not so sure we want her repeating these!)

"I don't like it" (Referring to food she doesn't like)

"Those guys make mess" (Referring to the kids in the childcare room where I go to exercise; they had made a huge mess with the toys and she told me this on her own!)

"Jack for a walk"

"What's-is?" or "What's-it Mommy?" (Imagine her saying "What's this?" but without the "th" and running the sounds all together to make it sound like she's saying one word. Kind of hard to describe but it sounds so cute!)

I'm sure there are more, but this is all I can think of for now!

Preschool is Fun!

Yes, I am on a kick with posting about preschool! Forgive me if you are bored to tears with these posts. I will be moving on to other topics soon!

Last week, Keira was recovering from being sick, so we had to miss preschool. As an alternate plan, we had school at home! Apparently for me, school = crafts! Keira seemed to have fun!

This week, Keira was feeling better and we were back at school.
